in the shadow of the moonlit sky
i fly …
as breath of wind
i rest…
on leave of tree
sinking as vapor into thee
i am sap…
flowing blood of branch & trunk
i am root…
seeded in earth searching down
I am grain …
sinking in soil
passed ant & worm and mite
I am stalactite…
crystal clear
I am vapor…
the water in earths deepest cavern
I flow beyond me
I am salt of sea…
I swim in the shadow of the moon
heated by the fire of sun
I am crustacean…
of oceans in ebb & flow
I am sand-worm…
shape-changer of life
I grow…
I am grain … I am seed… I am sap..
I am bud on branch of leave on tree
I am blossoming petal who dances
in the breeze resting on the wind
I am air,
I am everywhere
I am life…
